Through this audio-visual, the researcher brings to you the story of a water scarce village Kaladera in Rajasthan, where the use of earthen pots in the form of ‘matka’ and ‘pyayu’ has a flavour of both tradition and science to it. As the groundwater levels fall sharp and the problem of fluoride contamination surfaces, the research throw lights on the belief systems of the locals and their ways to cope up with drinking water issues through the help of earthen pots. Inherent idea is to showcase how commodification of water has interfered with the culture of water in a once rural-scape that now has an industrial park in the heart of it.
